| Plane type & model | Light biplane bomber (Breguet 19A2) | Developed from the successfull Breguet 14, the Model 19 was studied as a daylight bomber and as a bipost recon. Presented the first time in 1921 at Paris, the series production began in 1923 and by two years later there were 2000 exemplars ready; these planes gave optimal performances and remained in service for many years. The Breguet also desidered to obtain a good success also in foreign countries: for that a marketing campaing was set , and numerous license-productions were set in Spain , Jugoslavia , Poland , Belgium and Rumania. Some Breguet 19 were also employed during the Second World War. |
