| Plane type & model |
Multi-role fighter |
Born as a multi-role plane ( fighter-bomber, recon, assaulter ), after the Spanish combat experience in the 65° Squadriglia was redesigned to serve only in ground attack roles. Not very loved by the pilots, the plane demonstrated itself to be a complete failure and the exemplars utilized on the North Africa front in 1941 were all lost in a small period of time. During 1938-39 55 planes were sold to Iraq, Chili and Portugal. |
