| Plane type & model | Recon seaplane (BV138C-1) | The project Ha-138 was the first of Hamburger Flugzeugbau GmbH about a seaplane. The three prototypes had to recieve 1000 CV engines, but retards in the developing forced the adoption of the earlier Junkers Jumo (650 CV). The plane was very unstable in air and on water, so it was necessary a full redesign. The result , BV-138 , was built for sea recon and patrol Luftwaffe units. |
