Winner of a concourse by the Luftwaffe in 1937 on a tactical recon plane, the FW-189 Uhu was a simple and well designed plane, with a big glassed cockpit and the bimotor impostation. The plane, that remained in production until 1944, was nicknamed flying eye for its superb recon performances and was loved by pilots. They were also built attack and training versions and it was also utilized by Hungary and Slovacchia Air forces |
