| Plane type & model | Heavy bomber 4 crew(He 274A -project- ) | During the researchs to resolve the problems that harassed the He 177 ´s engines, the Heinkel proposed a 4-engines bomber , a majored wing and different tail by utilizing He 177 ´s fuselage. The building of He 274 began at Suresne (France) in 1943, but the prototype He 274V1, nearly completed, had never flown when the Allies occupied the factory in 1944. The German tentatives to destroy it were not accomplished and the french repaired it and then they flew it , after had been redesigned AAS 01A. From German side the bulding was not continuated , and if finished the plane was capable to deliver a considerable carry of bombs flying near the limit of the troposphere. |
