| Plane type & model | Medium bomber (Ju 188 E) | Direct developing of the Ju 88 , with a majored wing and tail, better crew position and more powerful motors, the Ju 188E equipped the Luftwaffe groups in summer 1943. With payload capacity aumented to 3000 Kg and better defensive weapons, this bomber demonstrated to be an high efficiency one and a formidable plane. Other recon variants were the Ju 188 D , F and H ; during 1944 were employed the bombers A, E and G ; the G was able to carry 3300 Kg of bombs, and the disarmed S, with GM-1 system (protoxide axote injection valve), was able to reach a max velocity of 685 Km/h, paragonable to that of the most fast Mosquitos . |
